Summer Reading Club
Join us for a summer reading club with various events and activities for all ages, including children and adults.
June 12th-August 7th.
Join us for the kick-off event on Friday June 12th from 6-8pm to get your Summer Reading Club materials.
We’ll be hosting weekly Summer Reading Club activities to earn stamps on your passport, along with individual activities to complete on your own during the summer. Must complete at least 4 of the 8 weekly activities to be included in the Summer Reading Club celebration party on Friday August 7th and earn an entry to win prizes. Complete all 8 and earn double entries for prizes. Complete book bingo cards and book trackers to earn more entries.
All weekly activities will be found on this page during the summer, updated regularly, as well as on the calendar on the home page.

Summer Reading Club Kickoff Party:
Friday June 12th 6-8pm. Free Book Swap, bring any books you would like to swap with others. Special guest appearance by Wild Note Delivery. Come get details about the Summer Reading Club for all ages while picking up your Summer Reading Club Passport and getting your first stamp for attending. Summer Book Bingo Cards, Book trackers, and Metro Library Summer reading program items available as well.
Weekly Activity Week 1:
Available all week long June 16th-21st. Fill out a book review sticky note on a book you have read recently for the Book Review board instore. Kids: Read a book to Randall (our bookstore pet). Collect your stamp on your Summer Reading Club Passport when finished.
Weekly Activity Week 2:
Available all week long June 23rd-28th. Make a blackout poem, supplies provided in store or you can do it on your own and bring it in. Kids: Draw a picture based on your favorite book, supplies provided in store, or you can bring it in. Collect your stamp on your Summer Reading Club Passport when finished.
