Summer Reading Club Week 5: Available all week long July 13th-19th. For Kids & Adults - Book Scavenger Hunt. Pick up a scavenger hunt card at the bookstore or participating local business partners. Find the book at each participating business and write it on the card. Find at least 4 to be entered to win a prize. Find all 8 and get double entries. You also get your stamp for the weekly event. Collect your stamp on your Summer Reading Club Passport when finished. Turn in your scavenger hunt card by July 21st to get entered. Even if you haven’t completed any other Summer Reading Club activities, this counts to be entered into prizes at the end on August 7th.

Open Art - Wednesday July 15th - Free art supplies, every week event. noon-6pm. Come get creative with the various supplies we set out.

Chaotic Crafter Collective: Thursday July 16th 5p-7p. Crafter meet up. Bring your projects and craft in community.

Junk Journal open studio: Friday July 17th 4p-7pm - Bring your projects and use our materials and tools. Lots of varied and fun items to work with. $10 per person. Sign up here or give us a call to reserve your spot.

Mad Hatter Tea Party: Saturday July 18th 11a-4pm. Storytime with Alice at 11:30pm. Free Tea and crafts from 11am-1pm (while supplies last). Mystery puzzle game available from 11am-4pm $10/packet (2-4 people can play with one packet). Pressed Flower Fairy light Jar craft class 2pm-4pm $20 per person, sign up online or give us a call to reserve your spot. Additional treats for sale during the event. 405 After Dark Book Club - Saturday July 18th 5:30pm Discussing Some Kind of Famous by Ava Wilder.

Kid’s Music class & storytime with BC Music Studio: Sunday July 19th 1pm-2pm. Come listen to a story and play with musical instruments.

School of Stitchcraft & Hookery: Intermediate Crochet class. Tuesday July 21st 5p-7p. Free class, yarn provided. Bring your own hook/tools or purchase a kit in the store for $5. Call to reserve your spot.

Hobby Haven Mystery Game Night: Friday July 24th 6p-9p. Hosted by Hobby Haven Game Co. Murder at the Circus. $10 per person. Light Snacks will be provided. Pre-register by July 20th to learn about your character and to be entered into a drawing for a free game. Speaking parts range from life of the party to spectator, so there’s something for everyone. Mid-Del Public Schools Foundation Back 2 Cool Event: Thursday July 30 6pm-10pm: We are partnering with the Mid-del Public Schools Foundation to set up a nostalgic bookfair at Star Skate in Midwest City to raise money for the Mid-Del Schools. We’ll be taking a large portion of our inventory up to the skating rink and setting up. You can get your tickets. here.

Pride & Paperbacks Book Club: Friday July 31st 6pm -Discussing Heated Rivalry by Rachel Reid. Bring your favorite snack and join the discussion with a craft.

Summer reading Club Celebration Event: Friday August 7th 5p-7p. Come celebrate the end of the Summer Reading Club, turn in your reading club materials and get your entry tickets for the prizes. If you can’t make it to the event, make sure you come in before and turn in materials and collect your entries. We will be drawing prizes at the event, you do not have to be present to win. Special guest from Wild Note Delivery will be on hand for fun and photos.

Tonya’s Stephen King inspired Birthday Bash: Saturday August 8th 3pm-7pm. Cake and party at 3pm. Cake provided by Moonshine Momma’s Home Bakery. Character costume contest at 4pm.
