  • Schedule your own book bedazzle time now available. Available for single participants and groups. Just give us a call to schedule up to a 3 hour time slot for $15 per person. September Food Drive for the Mid-Del Food Pantry: Join us this September in supporting families in need by donating food and spreading kindness. Our community is stronger when we all pitch in. We’ll have our collection box in the store all month long. Bring a canned chili or stew and we will get it to the pantry at the end of the month! Our goal is to collect at least 50 cans. Can you help us reach our goal?

World Letter Writing Day - Tuesday September 1st 10a-7p. Come write a pen pal letter in the store! Free writing supplies and postage included.

Yarn Magic: Tuesday September 1st - Beginners Crochet class. Free Class. Yarn provided. Bring your own hook/tools or purchase a kit for $5 in the store. 5pm-7pm. Call or send us a message to sign up.

Thriller Thursday Book Club - Thursday September 3rd 5pm. Discussing Brother by Ania Ahlborn. Hosted by the Down 2 Book Collective. Thriller Paint Night afterwards open to everyone, 6-8pm.

Haunted House Paint night with Alex Nash Art - Thursday September 3rd 6p-8p. Come get ready for Spooky Season with a haunted house paint night! Perfect to display during the Halloween season. Painting can be customized with ghosts or additional characters. $30. Sign up in the online store or give us a call to reserve your spot.

Paper Crafting Class - Friday September 4th 5p-7p. Come create handmade postcards, greeting cards and bookmarks. 2 of each. $10. Sign up in the online store, call us to reserve your spot or just show up.

Biscuit’s Book Club- Saturday September 5th 11a-1pm. Come visit with therapy dog Biscuit and hear some great stories.

Book Vase Class- Sunday September 6th 2p-4p. Come turn a book into a vase. All supplies provided. $15. Sign up online or give us a call to reserve your spot.

National Care Bears Share Your Care Day - Wednesday September 9th. Free Care Bears Share your care day coloring sheets. Care Bears™ Share Your Care Day is celebrated annually on September 9. Care Bears are on a mission to spread caring and  sharing around the world, and encourage fans to spread caring, sharing, love, friendship, acceptance, fun and happiness to those you love every day!

Princess Donut Royal Readers Book Club - Friday September 18th 5:30pm. Discussing Dungeon Crawler Carl and other activities. This book club will cover the whole series, one month at a time.

Junk Journal Workshop & Open Studio- Saturday September 19th Workshop 2pm-4pm Open Studio 4pm-7pm. Come learn some basic junk journal page layouts and techniques. Bring your own junk journal to work in, but all junk journaling supplies will be provided. Stay for the open studio and use our vast array of materials & tools to keep working. You can come just for the workshop, or just for the open studio, or stay for both. $10. But Space is limited. Sign up online or give us a call to reserve your spot.

Open Art- Sunday September 20th 12pm-4pm. Come get creative with the supplies we provide.

Hobbit Day - Tuesday September 22nd 5p-7p - Come celebrate the shared birthday of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins from J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. It’s a chance to celebrate the hobbits’ love of food, gardens, and good company with free snacks and a plant exchange. A day to celebrate friendship & adventure. Grab a friend and bring a plant to swap with others. Feel free to dress as your favorite middle-earth character, but shoes are required.

Community in Action Meeting: Wednesday September 30th 6:30p-8:30pm. Come talk about the Mid-Del community issues that matter to you. Discussion will be led by Marcus Hayes. We invite everyone to come talk about and learn more about community issues in a respectful and courteous manner as we explore ways to get more plugged in and how to take action to make our city the best it can be. Our community is stronger when we get plugged in and join the conversation.
